UNGT LYS : JANUARY | Roskilde Lysfest 2026

Do you want to take part in one of the biggest celebrations of light in Denmark?

During the evening of 30th of January, the center of Roskilde transforms into a magical place where everyone can join interactive light workshops, experience more than 20 installations, see fire dancers, ballet and more!

At the end of the night UngtLys members have an exclusive opportunity to meet one of the organizers of the event and talk about collaboration possibilities for the next years event.

We will meet at Cph Central Station at 16.00 to take a quick 25min train to Roskilde and a quick walk towards the main culture street of the city.

There the activities will start with an official opening, a ballet performance and a light procession where 2000 light sticks will be given out to the participants. After that the festival will continue until 21, we will explore all the installations and activities and at the end have a meeting with the organizers. Of course it’s also ok to leave earlier.

We will provide a one way train ticket to Roskilde. However, you are responsible for your own return transport.
