Ungt Lys Christmas Special: Tivoli Christmas lights

December 2nd at 16.00 we have the privilege of being shown the magical Christmas lights of the Tivoli Gardens by their Head of Lights, Jesper Kongshaug. Aside from being Head of Light in Tivoli, Jesper is also an award nominated and winning lighting designer, in both architecture, installation and theater. He is also head of Copenhagen Light Festival.

Jesper will show us around the gardens, and tell us about the way that the Christmas theme is reflected in the lights, how the rides are lit, Tivoli’s transition from incandescent lights to LED, and last, but not least, his work at Tivoli Corner which won the Danish Lighting Award 2019.
